Tours of the Dam - Memorial Day through Labor Day Saturday & Sunday at 3pm. Start: Lake Shelbyville Visitor's Center | Groups of 12+ must call ahead at (217) 774-3951 x2. All programs are FREE and open to the public! Campground programs are scheduled on Friday and Saturday evenings on a rotating basis. Schedule is announced monthly May - September. Beach water safety programs are offered on Saturday and Sunday afternoons when staffing permits. Special programs for school groups and organizations are first come, first serve | Arrangements must be made no less than two weeks in advance.
